Le Palais des Baroncelli, entre Avignon et Toscane

Après quatre années de chantier, le Palais du Roure restauré rouvre ses portes et présente cette exposition qui évoque la première vie du Palais du Roure, lorsqu'il était la demeure des Baroncelli, du milieu du XVe siècle au début du XXe.

Paul Gauguin et Odilon Redon – 2 prêts exceptionnels
Du 13 octobre 2017 au 4 mars 2018
A la suite d'un échange d'œuvres avec le Von der Heydt-Museum de Wuppertal en Allemagne, le public du musée avignonnais pourra admirer deux natures mortes exceptionnelles, l'une de Paul Gauguin, l'autre d'Odilon Redon prêtées au musée Calvet.

. Musée Lapidaire
De Venise à Avignon – Collections étrusques du Musée Calvet
Du 15 octobre au 31 décembre
A l’occasion de la semaine italienne à Avignon, le musée Lapidaire met en lumière une partie de ses réserves : un couvercle de sarcophage, des urnes, une statuette et des vases  pour évoquer cette civilisation fascinante d’Italie centrale.

Avignon’s museums
. The Palace of the Baroncelli family,
between Avignon and Tuscany at the Palais du Roure

Closed on Sundays, Mondays and holidays
After four years of extensive renovation, the Palais du Roure has reopened to the public, with this display which describes the early days of the Palais du Roure, when it was the home of the Baroncelli family, from the mid-1400’s to the early 1900’s.  
- Paul Gauguin and Odilon Redon – 2 exceptional loans to the Calvet Museum
13 October 2017 to 4 March 2018
First there was an exchange of works with the Von der Heydt-Museum in Wuppertal, Germany. Now,  the public at the Calvet museum in Avignon can admire two outstanding still lives, one by Paul Gauguin, the other by Odilon Redon, that have been loaned to the Calvet museum.
