The Great Escape
5 October to 21 December.
Dreamed up by Lionel Vivier, The Great Escape is a global project that looks in depth at the place of the image today. The hegemony of the image in this digital, post-Internet era has diluted photography in the flux of images with no territorial references, plethora of images leading to the constant transformation of what is real, uncertain and volatile. Through photography, video, 3-D sculpture, the artist gives us his melancholic and pictorial vision that lies somewhere between repetition and symbolic disintegration of what is real. In collaboration with the duo Gourau & Phong (Benjamin Roulet and François Bellabas).
